Wow...2011. I decided to dust off the old blog and write an update. Unfortunately, there has been only centimeters of movement on the adoption front. We finished up some paperwork at LSS of MN in December. Found out last week we have to write a letter requesting ICBF removes our hold status. Time flies by but then seems like it just is creeping on the adoption front. We stay positive and know and trust in God as he has all of the answers.
Ava is now 19 months. Absolutely crazy thinking we are on our way to having a 2 year old. Unbelievable. She is determined and full of life. Her vocabulary is amazing! She loves to give kisses, play with babies, and has become familiar with the timeout chair. The first time she had to "take a break" as we call it so traumatic...however...she now marches to the chair and takes her discipline. It's kind of funny :)
